The Williamses get off again....for now!

According to NFL.com, the NFL's request to expidite the appeal of the Williamses has been denied by the Minnesota court of appeals. Once again they can hold off their suspensions for testing positive for a banned substance. Now many will argue about what it was that they tested positive for and the circumstances surrounding it, but I see it as an attempt to not take responsibility for their positive test results. I do not give either of these guys any sympathy, even though I am a huge fan of Pat Williams due to his time spent with the Buffalo Bills, but they tested positive for a banned substance and need to take responsibility for it. I am happy that the positive test was not for steroids or narcotics, but I feel that since others have gone through the same thing as them and manned up and taken responsibility, that they should do the same.

Yeah...this whole thing gets my gander up.

When they originally tested positive, the Vikes and Bears were neck and neck for a playoff spot...not that you want to win that way but...if they had done their time at the end of that season right when they got pinched, Bears would have been in playoffs that year.
